WHAT GOD EXPECTS THE RICH AND POOR NATIONS TO SHARE AT DAVOS

In a past article entitled What Makes You Become Who You End Up As, the writer highlighted that ‘the success of any pursuit is measured and defined’ NOT by the subsequently achieved accomplishment, but by ‘the hurdles that one had to confront and overcome’ during the pursuit. Despite different people or nations committing themselves to different pursuits which encounter distinctly difficult hurdles or impediments, all pursuits share ‘the common goal of further growing the higher capacity’ for pursuing higher earthly life goals or aspirations, which advance the concerned people or nation’s quality of life. Accordingly, the more advanced or richer peoples or nations’s relatively higher quality of life, is mostly explained by their having utilized their encountered impediments as opportunities. For growing ‘the enduring capacity to relentlessly confront and overcome’ whatever their encountered hurdles or impediments, at ‘a far much greater or more effective pace’ than that managed by the less advanced or poorer peoples or nations.

These experiences of utilizing encountered or suffered difficulties as opportunities, for growing the enduring capacity to confront whatever hurdles or impediments one encounters, are not only what the more advanced or richer peoples or nations ‘should be sharing with their less advanced or poorer counterparts’ at Davos. But are also the core lessons which the less advanced or poorer peoples or nations should take seriously, if they are to partner with their more advanced or richer counterparts ‘in effectively raising the quality of life’ for the majority of the world’s poor citizens. This ‘faith and knowledge rooted and sustained conviction and commitment driven’ core success lesson, is described per Romans 5 verses 1-5 as;

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

The writer accordingly prays for the World Economic Forum’s Davos meeting, to become the Ecclesiastes 9 verse 11 ‘God given to all’ time and chance. For all peoples and nations ‘to partner in utilizing whatever their encountered or suffered personal, corporate, community, national or universal difficulties’ as opportunities, for growing their enduring capacity to relentlessly pursue their desired higher quality of life. AND ALL THE HOSTS OF HEAVEN CONCUR! ALLELUIAH! AMEN. SO BE IT.
