GOD WANTS TRUMP’S TRASHINGS TO PROVOKE AFRICANS AND ARABS, INTO GIVING IMPETUS TO THEIR SUSTAINED DEVELOPMENT

Whilst there is consensus across all America and even amongst some of President Trump’s core supporters, that his recent white supremacist trashing of all Africans and Arabs is totally revulsive and most disgusting. There is also consensus on that all people with any modicum of human decency and across all races, nations and continents, should unite in condemning the trashings as led by all the United Nations African Ambassadors who are currently seeking Trump’s apology.

In as much as the clamorings against Trump are necessary, what is disappointing is that the clamorings are failing to recognize that no matter how revulsive or disgusting Trump’s white supremacist beliefs are, these together with the many purposefully derogatory behaviors mostly attributed to all Africans ‘are purposed to be used by God’ for provoking the Africans and Arabs into;

1. Realizing that Trump’s being open about his right or wrong beliefs and where he rightly or wrongly stands in his relating to us. Is far much better than our having to deal with other American or European leaders, whose beliefs and relational positions they either always twist for their own benefit, or simply project as good for us ‘whilst they facilitate their remaining as the core beneficiaries’ of whatever we transact with them.

2. Realizing that we as Africans or Arabs have the responsibility like all other continental nations including Europeans, to continuously analyze and shed-off any behavioral or cultural practices ‘which retard or work against’ our sustained national and continental development. This responsibility is inclusive of our realizing and accepting that since most African and Arab nations assumed national independence from former colonizers, most of their vast natural resources and national coffers ‘have been abused and consequently not sufficiently benefitted’ their respective citizens. Mostly due to the respective political leaders’s self-enrichment priorities, and their not being held accountable by their citizens. As evidenced by ‘the astronomical amounts of funds siphoned out and invested offshore’ by the national leaders, whilst most of their citizens continue to live in abject poverty. And ironically, most of these self-serving and impoverishment inducing leaders ‘continue to be supported by significant proportions’ of their impoverished citizens.

3. Accordingly, any response to Trump’s trashings should lead not just to Trump’s condemnation, and neither ‘to leaving Africa to its own vices until it emerges in its own time’ as an industrialized continent, as virtually suggested by the #RISEUPAFRICA movement. But to committing us Africans or Arabs ‘to our sustained analyzing and shedding-off’ any of our anti-development behavioral and cultural practices; our sustained holding our political leaders to account ‘for ensuring that all natural resources and national coffers benefit all citizens’ and not just the politically connected elite; and each citizen’s sustained commitment to developing the requisite capacity ‘for pursuing and accomplishing whatever one’s desired’ higher earthly life dreams, visions or aspirations. These commitments together with ‘the sustained adding of value to our natural resources’ by processing and not exporting raw materials, will not only give impetus to Africa’s desired industrial, commercial and technological advancement. But also deny Trump and his white supremacist colleagues, the platform from which to continue their trashings.

Therefore, all praise should be given to God for all our received trashings from Trump, as ‘God will use these for the good of us Africans and Arabs’ not only per 1 to 3, but also in fulfillment of the Romans 8 verses 28-39 scriptures. Indeed Africa shall not remain under any subduing darkness, but will instead become the overcoming light to the world!
